Early December

Hi Everyone, It's me, Logan (or otherwise known as Yogi) Well I'm almost four months old and am having a great time. Here I am having my diaper changed by my big sister.

See her below...Nika's dancing around the house singing, "I'm a ballerina. I'm a ballerina." But of course she can't perform without clean teeth. She does a lot of this crazy stuff these days. I can't wait to join in. (I know Papa will especially enjoy seeing me in a tutu)

Lastly we have Nika in the kitchen, making her own fresh popcorn. There's nothing better than sneaking it into the Imax Theatre to watch Bears...or most recently, The Rolling Stones in Concert. Yuppers, we're rocker kids already!

An artist in the works

Lines, lines lines. "I'm making a line Mommy."

Check out Nika. Everything these days is about making "lines".
As you can see, even the cutlery. We walked into the kitchen to catch this artwork in-the-making.

Here's another cool shot. Nika and I were on our way to the ferry headed for Seattle. A local journalist got a pretty good laugh out of us so he put us in the weekend paper. We told him we had recently moved from California and were heading to Seattle for the weekend (hence the headline). Truth be told I was sneaking back over the border so I could fly out to LA for my US citizenship swearing in. Nika and I boarded the ferry on foot while Kevin & Logan drove on. It was quite the story actually. Imagine the border patrol when they saw Kevin w/ a two month old alone w/out the mother. Yup...it was crazy!!!!

November 2005

First shot: Kevin & Nika at gymnastics. Nika just received her second medal. Papa loves taking her every Wed morning, although sometimes he does need to have his Starbucks coffee to get through it.

2 & 3rd: Little Yogi (Nika's nickname) and me.

4th: Nika enjoying her homemade blueberry gelato
(inspired by Zia Marianna)

November: Nika & Logan

So here you go. We think & hope we have found a new way to easily keep you all updated on our new life in Victoria, Canada and most importantly these precious gifts we have been blessed with. Yes...Nika & Logan. (Yes I know it's sappy but how can you not be after looking at beautiful pictures of your own kids!)
Logan is almost four months now and not only is his behaviour virtually identical to Nika as a baby but he also looks like a spitting image of her. (exception: she had lots of hair and like many men in our families, he is bald.)
